Ontario Under-19 Team beats Western University 10-7

As part of Homecoming weekend at Western University, the Ontario Under-19 Field Lacrosse team played the Western Mustangs on Friday, October 3rd at TD Waterhouse Stadium.

The game ended with the Ontario team winning 10-7.

The Ontario team was lead by a strong "team" defensive effort and great goaltending from Dillon Ward. Offensively, Shawn Udema led the way with 4 goals, followed by Zac Reid with 1 goal and 3 assists. Also contributing offensively were Brady Heseltine (2G,1A), Geoff McNulty (1G,2A), Shayne Jackson (2G, 1A), and AJ Masson (1A). Matt Lord was great on the draws, with an 80% winning percentage!

The Western team was led by T. Colm (2G,2A) and M. Watson (2G).

Up next for the Ontario U19 team, we travel to Philadelphia to play Division One Drexel University on October 11th, followed by Cortland on Sunday, October 12th as the final game preparation before the Brogden Cup in Orlando, Florida on December 4th and 5th.
